I'd like to thank everyone who has written me over the last month. I'm afraid, though, that I haven't been able to write back in many cases and I apologize for that. Rest assured, I read every email that is sent to me and I appreciate all the great stuff I've gotten. I'm dividing my time between work, sleep and enjoying life. My employers have made some new rules regarding non-business email usage over the last month, and I now only have time to write stuff little-by-little before I go to bed.

Lots of rain and dark skies here. Humidity like an outdoor sauna. I think I must be growing mold on my body or something by now. I've also been experiencing my first typhoons, too.

To help make the most of my upcoming vacation in August, I decided on a trip to Guam. I hope to do a bit of scuba-diving or snorkeling there, and I'm looking forward to it immensely. Because the yen recently strengthened to an exchange rate of 117 to the dollar, I decided it was an optimal time to cash-out my earnings and change them into dollars (the yen has strengthened nearly 10% against the dollar since I got here, and it's unlikely the rate'll get much better than that....) So... I expect to spend a while relaxing on the beaches and getting my pasty, fish-belly-white skin all burny-wurny.

In other news: a reader forwarded me an email distributed by Jack Kammer, author of If Men Have All the Power, How Come Women Make All the Rules? In case you're not familiar with it, the author couldn't get his book into stores because publishers weren't willing to associate themselves with very good writing which might nonetheless tick-off a few women here and there.

The important bit of the email is as follows: "...After nearly 9000 downloads from www.RulyMob.com with overwhelmingly favorable response from readers, I decided I should publish the book myself. And since it has been more than four years since I completed work on the first edition, I have given the book a major update. Plus, I've expanded it to cover more topics in more detail. Originally it ran 124 pages, the new 2nd edition runs 224 pages. I expect to have the paperback version available by early August, 2002. The price will probably be about $16 (incl. S&H) But if you will pre-order and pre-pay to help cover the startup costs of the press run and the expense of setting-up an website storefront to process credit cards you can purchase thebook for $12.95. This offer is good thru July 31.
I would expect to fill your order by August 10, 2002. If these terms are acceptable to you, please send a check or money order payable to me at: PO Box 18236; Halethorpe MD 21227.
" And of course, the first edition is still available for free at the same website. Naturally, I think the second edition will be great, considering it's almost twice the size of the original. It's very challenging publishing a book on your own, it involves a considerable amount of guts and financial risk.

I wouldn't post an advertisement if I thought the product wasn't great. It's a true example of underground anti-feminist literature.

I think my updates today are... worth reading. My life is starting to get more exciting, to say the least.
