ZenPriest Sends me his Damning Assessment of the Male Plight

Got this e-mail while I was on route to Japan- and it is very interesting reading... so I'm posting it here.

Hello NiceGuy,

I spent quite a bit of time reading your site and enjoyed it a great deal. My comments are in the form of wishes and preferences rather than criticisms. I think the fact that you have reached at only age 26 essentially the same position which it took me about 20 more years to reach is a pretty good indication of how far our culture has degraded during my adult life. Like you, I found it damn near impossible to believe what foul and vile creatures American women were becoming, and the cost of my disbelief has been quite high - a case of genital warts, several exposures to herpes due to women lying to me, thousands of $$$ spent removing one particularly virulent leech from my bank account, death threats against me by a jealous husband, smashed windows in my house, having to swear out stalking papers on one particularly persistent and psychotic repulsive woman, and deteriorating health due to chronic-stress-related problems. (Ouch! Er, all of it, I mean... ouch! -- NG) It reminds me a bit of the old joke - "Why do men die before their wives do? Because they WANT to."

All over the westernized world, men are in deep shit - for all the reasons you have cited plus the phenomenon illustrated by your repeated disclaimers about how there must be nice women out there somewhere and your own reluctance to admit how foul women have become. As badly as the analogy is overused, it is precisely this same disbelief in the perversity of people which allowed the Nazis to nearly accomplish their programs of genocide. Having never lived through a major war, you can not know from experience how badly what we might consider to be "sanity" can drift and people lose sight of even the simplest and most basic tenets of common sense. (Ahh, the madness of crowds... Yes, as an avid student of history, I can appreciate how often the citizenry can lose sight of common sense. -- NG)

Marriage, fatherhood, and in may cases maleness itself, have been criminalized. A huge number of men have spent more time in jail and paid far greater fines for them than the average woman pays for murdering her children or the corporate elites pay for defrauding millions of people out of billions of dollars. My college roommate married a tubby (WAY beyond "plump") very plain girl following the folk wisdom of the song "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, don't ever make a pretty woman your wife." About 25 years later, despite the fact that her "career" had been every bit as successful as his, and despite the fact that she didn't want the kids and basically abandoned them into his care, she has successfully gone after him in family courts and secured a judgment of $2000/month alimony plus a cash award equal to the equity in their house. He was ordered by the court to buy enough term life insurance so that if he should die that she would be assured of that level of support through age 85, and to either turn the house over to her or to refinance it and withdraw all equity and pay her a cash settlement. He cannot get the insurance, because he is a cancer patient, and he cannot refinance the house because he has no job, so he got thrown in jail for contempt of court. It looks like he and the last of their 3 sons remaining at home will be thrown out of the family home and become homeless within the month. Then, he will almost certainly have the boy taken from him due to his inability to be a "fit parent." (God, that really, REALLY sucks. That story is a real disincentive to marriage. Maybe he could ask for asylum in another country? Heh, that seems to be my solution for pretty-much everything, doesn't it? -- NG)

All this for the "crime" of having his wife become tired of being married to him because he did not pander enough to her needs.

The male suicide rate has skyrocketed since the 1960s - increasing more than 4 times - while the female rate has remained flat. Currently at least 10 thousand American men per year are driven to kill themselves as the only way out. And, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand are all worse.

Whether you realize it or not, NG, you are going to be spending the rest of your life fighting to survive, mentally and emotionally if not physically. The state where I live has just struck down the statute of limitations on rape charges - it had been 3 years. In the UK, feminists have managed to transfer the burden of proof to the accused in rape cases. That's right, if a man is accused of rape he is considered guilty UNLESS he can PROVE consent. (How the hell can anyone PROVE consent?!?! If the woman in question has already accused him of rape, what other witnesses are there?!? There's no possible way he can ever prove consent unless he has some kind of written statement from her beforehand, I guess... What the hell?? -- NG) While not so formal and clear cut, that is the way things actually work here as well.

Which means that every one of the 20-odd women I have EVER slept with holds the power to destroy my life if she starts to feel vengeful enough. And, even though some jury just had the sense to convict Andrea Yates of capital murder for serially killing all 5 of her children, I would hate to have to count on being so lucky as to find a jury with equal sense and burying myself in debt simply to have any degree of protection against the likes of that 7th grade girl you wrote about.

I rather imagine you and I being in the same relative positions as many of the people who reply to your site are to you - them saying "oh, come on now, it's not THAT bad, it is just a personal problem of YOURS" and you saying "it is WORSE, and it is no personal problem of mine at all."

You are obviously a very intelligent and perceptive individual to have arrived at your conclusions at such a young age. And, you have presented them in a fairly articulate manner, albeit with an intensity born of extreme frustration. (Thanks... Heh, I think most other guys don't get so frustrated about female behavior when they get sex somewhat regularly... Much in the same way the Roman emperors distracted and mollified the populace with plenty of bread and circuses. -- NG)

What I, personally, would like to see on your site is more organization, more focus, and less apology. For more than 30 years men have been screamed and shamed into silence with shouts of "misogyny" every time one of us dared to question the prevailing Marxist dogma masquerading as a quest for "ekwalitee"... A 12 year old girl has the power to destroy the career of a lifetime educator. Two minutes of immature female anger and petty revenge can wipe out 30 years of dedicated male effort. As Lord Acton observed - "Power corrupts and absolute power destroys." American women have become so corrupt that they have been absolutely destroyed as worthwhile human beings. (Why is this so bloody hard for so many people to accept?! -- NG)

The problem which my college roomie discovered, is that even if a man finds one who has not become corrupted YET, there is nothing to assure that she will remain that way. The media is relentless in their attack on men and maleness. In the past week, a Toronto newscast broadcast the statistical lie that "53% of child killings by family members are committed by fathers and step-fathers". First of all, 47% of child murders are committed by the biological mothers, and the remaining 53% is ALL other adults in the same household. Second, there was no distinction made between true biological fathers, true adoptive step-fathers married to the mother, and simply adult males who were sleeping with the mother at the time. The true figure for real fathers is 22%, less than half that of mothers, and the most dangerous type of person (next to mothers) is a live-in boyfriend.

Recently, the suicide statistics for black males were deliberately hidden under the race card in claiming that the rate for blacks IN GENERAL had gone up. The rate for black females had in fact not gone up at all, but for black males had skyrocketed.

The real rabid man-haters who you mention on your site have attracted a huge number of weak-minded hangers-on and camp followers who just keep parroting the same old lies over and over until people have heard them so many times that they just assume they are true. Anyone attempting to point out the fact that they ARE lies will be attacked in the most vicious possible manner.

Finding a Japanese (or other non-American) wife may work for you in the short term, but only if you remain abroad and keep her from becoming influenced by American women. There is a vast female Mafia which recognizes the threat to their complete hegemony over men which these uncorrupted women represent. The first thing which will happen to a foreign bride over here is that the harpies will descend on her and try to brainwash her into their mode of victimhood thinking. (That almost sounds comical. I... I have trouble even imagining what this sort of thing might look like. Is this true? If I marry a woman over here, should I stay over here? Can anyone out there provide more information on this?! This could be a very relevant issue if I ever get married to a foreign woman in future... Please, somebody send info on this?? -- NG)

I have escaped the worst nightmares which have been happening to men by stubbornly refusing to get married until I met a woman who I was able to trust for at least a couple of years before putting my neck in the noose. Obviously, I haven't found one yet. And the male change of life has come to my rescue by making my biological drive for sex a thing of the past. I receive emails from an absolutely astonishing number of *young* men who have chosen celibacy in preference to such American women as are available to them. Once a man is under control of the system, there is shit-little he can do about it. The only recourse available to men now is the one I have chosen and more and more younger men have chosen - simply never to allow a woman to get her hooks into us.

It is what amounts to a strike. In classic Marxist terms - women are the reproductive capitalists, the *owners* of the MEANS of re-production, men are the labor. (What an interesting perspective!! And you know, I've read a lot of Marxist pukings in the past and I can not find ONE flaw in ZenPriest's interpretation. So interesting that this hasn't been stated in many other places before! -- NG) As long as men keep giving women what they are demanding, while settling for any tiny crumb that women deign to throw back in men's direction, NiceGuys are going to get a royal fucking (not the good kind). If you are tired of it now, think how tired you will be after 2 dozen more years of it. The only way to drag women back to the bargaining table is "no more Mr. NiceGuy and Captain FreeTherapist" (funny as hell, BTW, because it is so true). Women want what we have to offer far more than they dare admit. Women have practiced sexual and emotional withholding for centuries, maybe, just maybe, men will finally catch on to how powerful a tool it really is.

I hope you keep up your site, and that your youthful frustration and anger get refined with age to have more bite and substance to them. I would love to see an overall index of topics, with some topical organization. (Hmm, that's a project for the future, I'll bite. -- NG) You are not alone. All over the world men's frustration is reaching critical mass and they are getting organized to fight back. This very day a friend of mine is challenging the family courts of California on their lack of real legal authority and jurisdiction. If his legal trap for the officers of the court works, there are dozens more men just like him ready to dump an entire toolbox full of monkey wrenches into the works.

It isn't going to go away, NG. And, it isn't going to spontaneously "get better." Too many men of my generation made the mistake of thinking that, and left your generation the mess you now have on your hands. You have 20-30 more years left to live in this nightmare, and believe me it really can be a complete nightmare. I have never yet trusted a woman that I didn't eventually have real cause to terribly regret doing. Your expose of the "just treat us as human" dodge began to put a finger on the mentality which universally afflicts women - they are simply incapable of grasping any needs other than their own, and simply see men as a sub-human life form.
