Forty Days: Final Stretch

Well... it's been roughly two weeks since the last update. I'm posting this a day before March 2nd, because I won't be able to make the page update on that day... oh, coincidentally, today, is the day the movie "Forty Days and Forty Nights" is being put-out into general-release nation-wide. And, I'm able to say I have gone the last 40 days without being bitten by a Smurf. Or having a woman come-on to me. Take your pick. They both happen to me with just-about the same regularity.

I've written so little about this challenge over the past 2 weeks because... nothing really has happened over the last two weeks that is worth writing about. Midnight March 3rd, I'll be consecrating the official end of this. And I'm really, really looking forward to it. I'll probably last for a grand total of three seconds before orgasming. (Yes, I'm being pretty gross by talking about this in such lurid detail... But hey- I'm being open about it. There are two types of men: those who admit to masturbating, and those who lie about not masturbating. Why? Women don't give us much choice but to masturbate- DUH!)

This whole 40-day Challenge has had nothing to do with facing external threats. It had nothing to do with being led into temptation by foul temptresses. It had nothing to do with anything but myself and my own self-restraint. Fortunately, I have good self-restraint.

Oh sure, I could've gotten sex if I'd gone to one of those two women that EvilGuy gave a good dickering to some months back (Laurie and Angelica) but those two were strictly part of a one-time 'screw 'em/leave 'em' operation. I haven't any intention of seeing them if I can avoid it. From now on, I'm determined to make a greater effort to only have sex on mutually-agreeable terms or on my terms. Not on 'woman's-prerogative' terms. Er, if I can even exercise the option of having sex, that is. Can any man afford to be choosy?

In Conclusion...

A celibate guy doesn't attract attention. He doesn't matter. Go without sex and masturbation all you want: your greatest enemy is yourself and definitely not another woman. Why do we masturbate? Because women deny us sex for most of our lives.

The movie "Forty Days and Forty Nights" is, like most Hollywood sex-comedies, bullshit that doesn't really happen in real life. I know this update might seem a bit anticlimactic but then- what real-life situation isn't anticlimactic?
